I am off to college in the fall and am currently under legal guardianship. I live in Florida. My guardians told me that there is a program in Florida that pays for students under legal guardianship to go to college if it is a state public school. Is this true? I could not find anything about it when researching.

No, you have to pay. Although, getting a scholarship might help in paying for your college.

well when i tried to get in to pjc they went on my parents income if i was under 2o sumthing even tho i didnt live with them so really it depends on your parents income if you gonna get a grant fill out a grant form and see and if you dont know where to do it just goto your local community college and ask them what step to get enrolled
