Answer 1 :
Im not sure about their computer engineering program but UCF over all is an excellent school, and very competitive. I know a couple of people who were admitted into the university but not admitted into the program. UCF has very high standards, but is a great school. Since you are in florida you may want to check out a couple of other schools like FSU, and UF (the state of florida power house) I know for a fact that they have excellent programs. I also heard great things about Florida Institute of Technology check them out. What ever your decision is I wish you the best of god's blessing in all of your future endeavors sincerely, mrkool08

Bringing husband to college housing (are there any colleges in Florida that allow this

Bringing husband to college housing (are there any colleges in Florida that allow this?)?
If I go to a college in Florida, and I want to bring my husband from Europe, how would this work out? Are there any colleges in Florida that have married housing without both husband and wife attendidng the school? I would be the only one attending. Thanks!

Hello there, just visit http://doiop.com/bestedu101 .... They've got highly useful info to help you out making the kind of educational decisions that seem to be on your mind. Also consider these important questions and points - You will likely find that success in life has less to do with the choice of college than with the experiences and opportunities encountered while in college, coupled with personal qualities and traits. Employers and good schools are looking for outstanding skills and experience, not college pedigree. There's over $2 million dollars between the lifetime salary of someone with a degree vs. someone WITHOUT one. Check it out
Answer 2 :
Many colleges offer what they call "family housing", which you can ask about. Your husband would not need to attend the school - only you would. I'm not sure exactly which Florida schools offer this, so you'll have to ask each one directly. Those schools that don't offer family housing will allow you, as a married woman, to live off campus. You would not be required to live in the dorms. You could find your own apartment. The college will have a housing office, which will have listings and resources to help you in your apartment search.
Answer 3 :
I don't know specifically about any schools in Florida, but at any school whose policies I've actually looked into, only one spouse has to be a student in order to live in married housing. So it shouldn't be a problem.
