How to convince parents to let me go to an animation college in Florida

How to convince parents to let me go to an animation college in Florida?
I was accepted to it, but parents change they're mind later to no after saying yes...3 times already. They prefer a closer school, but this school is top notch (digital media arts college).

Answer 1 :
If its financial I think you need to get a part-time job to get a loan for college. Perhaps its too expensive for your parents. If there's an animation school closer then I think that would be the most realistic choice for you. It doesn't matter where you study as long as you get the basics for animation coz' it's a continuing learning process. I've been in the business since 1992 and I'm still learning new techniques in fx animation.
Answer 2 :
are you talking about full sail? if you are, i wouldn't do it.

Best place in Florida for a college student to move to

Best place in Florida for a college student to move to?
I live in AL, but want to transfer to a community college or [low cost, but GOOD] university in Florida next fall. I was looking into Orlando, as I've heard it was a good place. Yet, I saw the Valencia Community College did not provide housing, which is what I would need till I got "on my feet" good. Any ideas? I heard Tampa and Jacksonville were good places as well. Which is best? Thanks! 10 points for most helpful answer!

Answer 1 :
I know of no community colleges that provide housing. Hillsborough Community College in Tampa has three campuses: N. Dale Mabry, Brandon and Ybor City. Go to to the campus that is near where you find reasonably priced housing. I would suggest you look in the Northdale area for the N. Dale Mabry one. There are a lot of reasonably priced apts in the Brandon area. You might check craigslist to see if you can rent a room somewhere.

Do I need a foreign language to attend college in Florida

Do I need a foreign language to attend college in Florida?
My plan is to major in meteorology/atmospheric science. Do I need to learn a foriegn language to attend college or is that just for a scholarship? Is $300,000 enough for college? Would an internship improve my chances of getting in a college and earning a scholarship? Sources? If I take a foriegn language in high school, would I need to take it again in college?

Answer 1 :
Yes, most schools in Florida require a minimum of 2 years of the same foreign language. Getting an internship is a good idea because it will give you a unique experience. Universities like extracurricular activities. They want to know you're doing more to better yourself than just attending school. In terms of tuition, it depends on which school you're applying to. If you're from out of state, tuition will be more expensive.
