Question about transferring from a community college in Florida

Question about transferring from a community college in Florida?
Alright so a bunch of my friends got accepted into colleges and this other friend is going to a community college in Florida because he can't get into a good school...he claims that after one or two years at a community college in florida he can supposedly transfer AUTOMATICALLY (meaning high school info and college gpa and what not doesn't matter) into university of florida, florida state, south florida, etc....is that true?

THIS IS CORRECT BUT MAKE SURE YOUR GPA IS GOOD IN THE COMM COLLEGE. IF THEY ARE NOT 3.0 OR HIGHER JUST FORGET ABOUT EVER THINKING YOU WERE GOOD AT ANYTHING AND BECOME A JANITOR

what do I need to do to apply for college in florida

what do I need to do to apply for college in florida?
Im a canadian highschool student in grade 12, and i want to appy for college for the fall in florida. i was thinking a community college for business. What do I need to do to apply? I havent taken any sat tests i dont know where to start. is it too late?

check their sites...see their requirments for freshman...call an advisor there to help..apply online, pay, send your transcripts and testing scores

How long does it take to get a Letter saying if I've been accepted to the State college of Florida

How long does it take to get a Letter saying if I've been accepted to the State college of Florida?
It's been about a week since I sent my application in to the state college of Florida in Sarasota and I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it will be till I get any news from them. Thanks for any info

Don't worry, you'll get a rejection letter in no time.

It usually takes a few weeks total, especially since the new semester starts at the end of August. Just be patient, it will come. Don't worry.

What college should I go to in florida

What college should I go to in florida?
I live in Wisconsin and want to go to college in Florida for accounting. I want a school that costs around 10-15k per semester or so. Please help!.

Answer 1 :
Either start at community college or move to Florida, get a job and an apartment and register to vote and get a FL drivers license, wait a year, and then apply as a resident.
Answer 2 :
Yeah that is going to be difficult. There are community colleges in FLA, but you would be paying more money since you are not a FLA resident-so you are better off going to a community college in Wisconsin. Perhaps you may want to relocate there, maybe stay w/ family or friends-if you have any down there..and then apply for residency....then apply to perhaps any of the FLA state colleges. Just my 2 cents
