i would like to become either a radiologist, a surgeon, or an anesthesiologists. what college in florida would best suit my needs.

Before you can go to medical school, you must first earn a bachelor's degree from a four year college or university. While you're working towards your bachelor's degree, you must take the 12 pre-med courses: four Chemistry courses (Gen. Chemistry I and II and Organic Chemistry I and II), two courses each in Biology, English, Calculus and Physics. You will need to maintain a GPA of at least 3.5. Then in your Senior year, you willl need to take and perform well on the MCAT. When you are ready, you apply to medical school. There are four medical colleges in Florida: University of Florida, Miller Medical College (U of Miami), University of South Florida and Florida State. While none of these schools are top ranked, you may want ot apply to schools outside of Florida as Medical School admissions are quite competetive. Many qualified students end up not going to medical school because they don't apply to enough schools. Keep in mind that you won't identify your specialty until you've completed the bulk of your intership rotations (the end of medical school).
