Bringing husband to college housing (are there any colleges in Florida that allow this?)?
If I go to a college in Florida, and I want to bring my husband from Europe, how would this work out? Are there any colleges in Florida that have married housing without both husband and wife attendidng the school? I would be the only one attending. Thanks!

Many colleges offer what they call "family housing", which you can ask about. Your husband would not need to attend the school - only you would. I'm not sure exactly which Florida schools offer this, so you'll have to ask each one directly. Those schools that don't offer family housing will allow you, as a married woman, to live off campus. You would not be required to live in the dorms. You could find your own apartment. The college will have a housing office, which will have listings and resources to help you in your apartment search.

I don't know specifically about any schools in Florida, but at any school whose policies I've actually looked into, only one spouse has to be a student in order to live in married housing. So it shouldn't be a problem.
